We have a computerized Bjerrum’s scotometer, corneal pachymetry and HRT-2 to study the optic nerve fibers, which allows us to make a preliminary diagnosis, customized research and treatment for glaucoma.
Technology plays a very important role in prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, as there are no noticeable symptoms for the patient.
Emergence and development of glaucoma, one of the most common causes of vision loss, is the result to a group of anomalies that increase the intraocular pressure. As a result the retina cells are damaged and produce an irreversible loss of vision.
